In Silent Hill F, Hinako has reached her home but somehow it doesn’t seem familiar. The fog has manifested inside the home and each path is dangerous. Defeating the monsters one by one, Hinako has to explore each room to collect all the resources and important items which will be used to obtain the crest.

Once you reach the room, i.e. glowing red and has photo frames of Hinako’s father, mother, and friends in the wall. The puzzle, Ominous Photo will be updated in the journal and it needs to be solved to get a Crest. What is the solution for the Ominous Photo?

Hang the Calendar on the wall that will read 6th of October 1962. The room onward will be transformed into the very day the calendar says. The photo frame which is necessary for the Ominous Photo will be obtained in the 6th of October. The photo frame will be displaying the beauty of Hinako.

Fast forwarding to the puzzle Ominous Photo. Go to the room and all the photo frame will be installed already except one, i.e., Hinako’s. Therefore, interact with all the photo frame and rotate it to look normal.

According to the group photo, Hinako’s face will be covered in red stain. So, turn or rotate the photo frame of Hinako upside down only and the rest should be in normal state.

Doing so will solve the puzzle and reveal a crest of White Bird and Fox Plate hidden behind the group photo.
