These are the most useful tips and tricks for all the players who are enjoying the adventure of Witch’s apprentice Ellie.
Time
The time ticks every second but when you are at certain zones, then the timer is paused. Similar to the first night when the train broke down and at night Ellie had to reach the Shining Tree. This is most useful for farming, registering the entry on Encyclopedia or gathering the resources.
Stamina
The Stamina can be increased by sleeping or by Potions but there are even items or food that can increase the Stamina. The items or foods that has a heart icon can increase the Stamina.
Potions
Potions are the best tool for Ellie. You can do various tasks with the Potions. The efficiency of item gathering or collecting resources can be increased after using certain potions on the desired target.
Create a set of extra Potions even if you do not have any immediate use. It is better to be prepared before you encounter any area that need the required Potion.
Encyclopedia
It is useful to use Quill whenever, you get the chance to add a new entry because once you complete the Encyclopedia, Ellie’s max running stamina can be increased.
Friendship Level
Increase the Friendship Level with the villagers to get gift from them which is delivered to us via Mailbox. To receive the gift, get to Friendship Level 2 by increasing the hearts.
Ellie can also increase the Friendship level with the cat which will change its behavior towards her.
For 1 heart or friendship level, Ellie will be able to pet.
For 2 hearts or friendship level, Ellie will be able to play.
For 3 hearts or friendship level, the cat will visit her home.
