In Hollow Knight Silksong, Savage Beast Fly at the domain of Hunter’s March in Chapel Of The Beast is one of the most annoying boss to fight. Not only does it chase you but also summon enemy bugs to distract and pincer you by eating the space.

The summoned enemies would be familiar bugs but they cannot be dealt in one go. Excluding the summoned enemies, how many hits does Savage Beast Fly can endure until it eats the dust. What is the reward? Is it worth considering the trouble?

How Many Hits To Beat Savage Beast Fly In Hollow Knight Silksong?

To defeat Savage Beast Fly in the Hunter’s March, you are required to hit the boss for 70 times. The boss can be stunned for 5 times in total each after 14 hits. The first time it takes to stun to boss would be 11 hits which includes the first free hit to take the aggro. Rest it is all 14 hits!

Strategy

The strategy to defeat the boss would be to clear out the small summoned enemies as they can sneak in few hits if you are busy focusing on the boss. Keep distance from the boss and eliminate these enemies 1 at a time.

When the Savage Beast Fly stomp the ground with its face, you can use it strategically to destroy the small enemy bugs. Make sure that before stunning the enemy at 14th hit should be at ground level, or say while it is stomping. Why? So that you can slash at it multiple times without wasting time to jump while it is airborne.

Reward Beast Crest

Defeating the Savage Beast Fly will reward you with the Beast Crest which will allow you to life steal and deal heavy damage to the enemies. It is great in combat but while exploring, the down attack will mess up your control. Additionally it has only 4 slot compared to other Crests that has 6 slots.
