Persona 5 The Phantom X – What To Write Main Character Name?

In Persona 5 The Phantom X when you visit the school and classroom, the main protagonist will be prompted to enter their name. Once the name is entered, it cannot be changed throughout the gameplay. Therefore many players have been startled and puzzled for a while, thinking whether it will change anything or disrupt their experience.

What To Write Main Character/Protagonist Name At Persona 5 The Phantom X

The main character or the protagonist name is Nagisa Kamisiro which will be available by default. It is your choice whether to enter the cannon name or your own custom name in the blanks. If you are wondering if it will affect your gameplay is then the answer is No.

The only difference of selecting custom name vs cannon name would be that when you fill up your custom name, the dialogue will be not voiced for custom. However, it will be shown in your menu and in-game texts.

The choice of name is personal and write any name. If you want to enjoy the dialogue and voice acting then it is recommended to play with default name which is the original name of the protagonist. During the dialogue, you will be referred as the “Wonder“.
