Deltarune How To Get The Ice Key & Find The Controller

In Deltarune, the Ice Key is one of the essential items needed to find the secret boss in Chapter 3. The key can be found inside a mini-game that is accessed through Mr. Tenna’s show. In Board 1, you need to achieve an S-Rank and score more than 1500 points. After Game 1, you will find a door with an S written on it that you need to enter.

Previously, it was blocked by a guard who was checking whether you were on the guest list. Obtaining an S-Rank in Board 1 will place your name on the guest list, and you will then be able to access the secret mini-game room.

Once you have entered the room, move toward the left and enter the door to find multiple controllers connected to a system. Continue heading left to find a room with a large screen and a console connected to it. You will be prompted to connect a controller if you attempt to play it. Exit the room, and on the ground, you will notice something shiny. Interact with it to obtain the controller.

Now return to the console and plug in the controller to start the mini-game. In the mini-game, your task is to locate a secret basement or a cave-like area. Inside that area, you will find a sword that is required to reach the Ice key.

Now, level up your sword by defeating monsters in different areas until it reaches its maximum level. You might also come across a bird that would fly from one tree to another. To defeat the bird, your sword needs to be maxed level.

With a fully leveled sword, you will be able to chop down trees. Go back to the starting map and continue chopping down forest trees in any direction. After progressing through 2–3 or more screens, you will come across a treasure box in the middle of the forest. Approach the treasure box and interact with it to obtain the Ice Key.
