Escape From Duckov – How To Play Co-Op Multiplayer?

Escape From Duckov is a single player survival adventure game but the devs are considering to add multiplayer mode due to the huge success in Steam. Plus this game is also co-op friendly, though when the devs might actually implement the co-op function, the difficulty will rise for sure.

So, the first question is can we play co-op at this instance? The answer is Yes. How? Well, the game is mod friendly which means you can add mods in Steam via Workshop. Let’s guide you step by step on how to play co-op with your friends.

How To Play Co-Op Multiplayer Mode In Escape From Duckov?

To play co-op multiplayer in Escape From Duckov, you will have to enter the Workshop and Subscribe to the Co-op Mod. This will download the mod into the game.

1. Start the game and enter the Mod menu.
2. Select the Co-op Mod.
3. Arrange these lists of mods from the top, i.e.,
   HarmonyLib
   LiteNetLib
   Debug CMD Mod
   Co-op Mod
4. Turn OFF all the other Mods if you have installed it.
5. Turn ON all the listed Mods such as:

• HarmonyLib
• LiteNetLib
• Debug CMD Mod
• Co-op Mod

6. Restart the game.

How To Play Using Mod?

Once the Mod is installed, make sure you have a new Save Slot available before playing. Delete the save file to clear a slot and then start the New Game.

Select Difficulty, customize and then enter the Bunker. Complete the Tutorial. If there is an issue completing the simple steps, then disable the mods to complete the tutorial. Once the Tutorial is completed. Go back to the Main Menu if you have disabled the mods. Enable it!

Start the game.

Now you will want to create a server in order to let others join in. So, use a VPN to create a fake I.P. address and create a Network.

Make sure that you and your friend is also using the same VPN. For example – we are using RADMIN VPN to create a Network and others are also using RADMIN VPN to join a Network.

To join a Network, enter the Network name and password. Then the host will have all the joined players I.P. displayed.

Enter the game and click the co-op mod overlay.

Click the first top option which will host the game.

To join, do the same. Click the first top option but enter the IP address that you want to join in, i.e., the host IP address at the IP section.

Start the game and it will join the host automatically.

Important keybinds for the co-op mod

1. To remove the overlay, press Home button on your keyboard.
2. To check the ping and who has joined the game, press P.
3. While exiting the bunker or going through the Extraction at the end, press J to accept.
