Borderlands 4 – How To Increase The Game FOV Limit?
Borderlands 4 is a first-person shooter-looter PvE role-playing game. An intense co-op action game that has various lethal enemies lurking around each area. Decimating everything that blocks your way with the wide range of arsenal that you can possess.
The wide range of vision or field of view plays an important role, as you can only see a specific part where you face. The default maximum value of FOV set in Borderlands 4 is 110. However, if it feels too claustrophobic and you are not used to playing in such a FOV, then you can actually tinker and increase the maximum limit of the FOV.
How To Increase The Game FOV Beyond 110 In Borderlands 4?
To increase the game FOV, you will have to locate where the game files are installed. Locate the file GameUserSettings.ini
Under Borderlands 4\Saved\Config\Windows, you will find the GameUsersSettings.ini file.
Edit the file and change the BaseFOV value from 110.000000, which is the default value, to whatever you feel like.
The best FOV value would be 120 or at max 125.
Once you have changed the FOV base value, you can save the GameUserSettings.ini file and then launch the game.
It might be useful when you get flanked or need more peripheral views in general while engaged in combat.
