In Hollow Knight Silksong, you will encounter the Widow at Bellheart soon after defeating the Sister Splinter and obtaining the Cling Grip to stick on the wall for a brief moment. After making your way to the Widow, it is necessary to defeat her in order to free all the Pilgrims that are ensnared. The completion of the task, “The Threadspun Town” depends upon how and when you defeat the Widow.

How Many Hit Does It Take To Defeat Widow In Hollow Knight Silksong?

Similar to other previous bosses, you have to hit Widow for 60 times approx in order to defeat her. Get accustomed to her abilities and attack pattern which includes dive kick similar to yours, summoning huge Rosaries or bell from the roof and piling up the pointy scraps on the ground.

Dodge all her attacks and stun her for 3 times before going for a final blow. Once you defeat Widow, you will get a new Skill, i.e., Needolin which will be used to play ancient melodies and open certain gates or door.

Advance after obtaining the new Ancestral Art, and the Bellheart will not be a ghost town anymore. Interact and speak with various Pilgrims and enter the tent to unlock the shortcut to The Marrow. Further down, you can meet the new NPC Loddie who will challenge you to simple target hitting game for 25 Rosaries. If you manage to complete the challenge, your Tool Pouch will be expanded and furthermore you will get a necklace of Rosaries for the next challenge.
