Most of the soulslike game allow players to dodge the incoming attacks or even parry the attacks. Blocking the attack comes with a downside such as depleting some amount of health.

Similarly, Wuchang Fallen Feathers initially has a dodge mechanics but if you manage to purchase a specific skill from the Impetus Repository then you can counter or parry the enemy attacks. Unlocking is simple but using it might be tricky. Here’s everything you need to know about using the Block and Parrying in the game.

How To Use Block & Parry In Wuchang Fallen Feathers?

To use Block & Parry, first you are required to unlock the skill Sword Counter. The skill will be listed in the skill tree or Impetus Repository. Follow the nodes as listed below to get the Sword Counter.

  2. Sword Saint
  3. Strength
  4. Strength
  5. Windforce
  6. Vitality
  7. Vitality
  8. Vitality
  9. Sword Counter

Once you have unlocked the Sword Counter, you are required to equip the skill in a Katana or a Longsword.

How To Equip Sword Counter?

Go to the Shrine and choose Discipline.

From there select the Katana that you need to equip the skill Sword Counter. Once the skill is equipped it will show below on top of your Health bar.

To use the Sword Counter or Parry, time it right as soon as the attack lands. It is suitable for Longswords so make sure that the skill is equipped on the preferred weapon.

If you block using the Sword Counter, a small chunk of health will be lost whereas if you manage to deflect or parry the attack, no health will be lost. It is a quick way to counterattack as there is a recovery time after the dodge.
