In Umamusume: Pretty Derby, the characters have a general rating, i.e., 1, 2, and 3 at the beginning. These rating dictates their base stats such as 1 star rating will have base stats below 100 whereas the 3 star rating would have base stats close to 110. Apart from the attribute increase, the Umamusume learns a powerful and unique skill which is replaced automatically when the star rating is increased.
Therefore, there are multiple reasons to increase the Umamusume’s star ratings. So, how do we increase the ratings of your favorite characters or unlocked characters? Is there any fastest way to get a character to increase their rating to 5 stars.
How To Get 5-Star Rating Characters In Umamusume: Pretty Derby?
To increase the rating of a character or a Trainee, you are required to obtain the Star Pieces of the specific Trainee. Star Pieces can be obtained by many various methods, such as:
- Opening the Scout Derby Pack. (Duplicates allow you to get Statue Pieces.)
- Obtaining Star Pieces via Statue Exchange.
- From Special Missions.
- Obtaining Star Pieces from the Friend Point Exchange.
- Obtaining Star Pieces from the Club Point Exchange.
- Obtaining Star Pieces from the Cleat Exchange.
- Obtaining Star Pieces from the Clover Exchange.
To increase the Star Rating, follow the steps:
- Click Enhance.
- Click Trainee.
- Click Star Unlock.
- Select the character that you want to upgrade.
If you have enough Star Pieces, you can upgrade the Star Rating of a Trainee and also learn a powerful, unique skill. It is mostly a grind for the Carats, as you require Gems to open the Scout Derby Packs. Before that, it is recommended to obtain SSR Support cards to assist you in the Training and URA Race.
