Blue Prince – Where And How To Use Basement Key?

In Blue Prince where players are quickly strategizing and advancing to reach the Antechamber might have to find the harsh truth that it is locked. However, if they manage to unlock 1 of the 3 doors which is the main objective in order to unlock the Room Number 46, the job is still not over.

In the Antechamber, there will be a Basement Key which can be collected i.e. will assist the players in unlocking the North door of the Antechamber where the Room Number 46 entrance is closed behind the steel doors. So, where do we use the Basement key or find the Basement door in the Blue Prince?

Where To Use The Basement Key In Blue Prince?

To use the Basement Key, you will need to draft the Foundation room. Once drafted it will be shown in the future runs always. Next, you need to spawn lift inside the Foundation room which will lead to the Basement.

To activate the lift, make sure you connect the west side of the Foundation room with another room even though there is no exit/entrance. The lever for the Foundation room will spawn on the non connected room on the side of the West wall. Interact and the lift will be activated which will be available for the players to enter the room that leads to the Basement.

Use the Basement Key which will unlock the room permanently for the future runs. Advancing further and solving more riddles, you will finally reach the lever that unlocks the Room Number 46.
