There is no other way except fishing in the Mushgrove Swamp in order to get the Resins. However, the increase in Luck comes in handy as it increases the chance of catching the higher rarity fish and items. As Resin comes under Secret Rarity, then having a Boost in Luck via using the Fishing Rods with the highest Luck.

• Using Merlin’s Luck Boost.
• Activate the Aurora Borealis Event.
• Increase the Rod’s existing Luck with the Enchanted Relic.

Fish anywhere inside the Mushgrove Swamp to have a chance of fishing the Resin.

Once you have caught 3 samples of Resin then go back to the Bubble Mermaid and as the name suggests she will give you a Water Bubble for 25,000 C$. This is equivalent to the Advanced Diving Gear, however now you do not need to even worry about oxygen depletion with this item. Equip it and dive under the water to get the Heart Of Zeus.
