Marvel Rivals – Fantastic Four Release Date Confirmed!
Marvel Rivals is a superhero team-based PvP shooter game for 12 players. Six players each on a team compete to take control of the objective. The unique team power-up plays a big role in changing and shifting the meta or team composition according to the strategy.
From the current roster, players have wondered who the next character or heroes will be added to the game. According to an announcement made by the game developers, Creative Director “Guangguang” and Lead Combat Designer “Zhiyong“, the heroes are confirmed.
Fantastic Four Release Date Confirmed In Marvel Rivals
Season 1 will be released on January 10, 2025 UTC, which will last for 3 months. The season will be divided into two parts i.e. 6 or 7 weeks each. The Season 1: Eternal Night Falls! will currently feature the Fantastic Four i.e. Thing, Human Torch, Mister Fantastic, and Invisible Woman.
In the first part of the season, only Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman will join the current roster as Duelist and Strategist, respectively. In the second part of the season, Thing and Human Torch join in for action.
Currently, in the game, there are 33 characters and at the end of Season 1, it seems that we are getting 37 characters in the roster which is a good amount of jump. Considering the game is still new and players are experimenting with busted and wicked strategies with their team composition.
Once Season 0 (Doom Rise) and the BattlePass Chronovium will end, along with the new Season Pass and season; Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman will become playable.
Buffs, Nerfs, And New Team-Up Introduction
Hawkeye and Hela are getting nerfed individually as we all know how busted it can be in the hands of great players. The damage potential of these two heroes is so great that at higher ranks these two shared the position of getting banned constantly.
Captain America and Venom, the two Vanguards are getting buffed individually. Venom and Captain America mains have something to look for in this season. Cloak and Dagger will also receive a considerate amount of buff to fit in team compositions and make it more appealing compared to the other Strategists.
Additionally, the two X-Men heroes i.e. Wolverine and Storm are getting buffed. As Wolverine excels in isolating the target, Storm seemed to lack in both mobility and DPS aspects compared to other ranged Duelists. Wolverine will get a small boost in his base health ensuring that his Passive do not get popped easily.
Maps
The new map Sanctum Sanctorum will be added before the end of Season 1. During Season 1- Part 1: Empire Of Eternal Night: Midtown will be released which will be the new Convoy map along with the new game mode i.e. Doom Match: Sanctum Sanctorum.
At the end of season 1, the maps listed below will become part of the map rotation.
