Stalker 2 - Heart Of ChornobylStalker 2 Heart Of Chornobyl is a horror, first-person shooter game where countless enemies in the form of mutated monsters, humans lurk in the Zone. Survival should be the main priority of your character but we are cooking so many tips and tricks that might simply change the way you have ever intended to play the game.

Tips & Things To Do At The Start Of The Game In Stalker 2 Heart Of Chornobyl

How To Not To Lose Your Prologue Weapons And Resources

Once you start the Stalker 2 Heart Of Chornobyl prologue, play the game as it is intended to be played i.e. follow the mission and direction. The best tip at the beginning would be to not lose your weapons and resources by placing them all in the Safe so that you can retrieve them after the cutscene.

Do Not Loot Weapons That Have Red Icon Or Red Armor

The weapons that have red icons or red armor signs have completely lost their durability. They cannot be sold unless you repair them. Repairing them will cost you a bunch of Coupons which is highly unadvisable. Only loot the undamaged weapons/gears or yellow icon weapons that can be sold for coupons without repairing.

Help Zhorik

After the Prologue, when you leave the area with your weapon; a few bandits will be yelling and shooting at a home. Defeat all the bandits and Zhorik will call you inside to give your first sidequest.

Rescue Gloomy

At the Boiler house, defeat all the enemies on the ground floor and upstairs. Ensure you do not accidentally kill Gloomy as Richter, Squint, Gloomy, and Zhorik belong to a single group. Further quests will be unlocked so you must avoid any harm on these NPCs.

Reach Zalissya

The major settlement and first stop of the main character. Players can now receive various sidequests and help from NPCs. These NPCs can be found in almost every huge settlement. So if you find any then these are their roles:

  • Vendors sell weapons, and other resources such as food, ammunition, armor etc.
  • Medics heal your player for free of cost. They sell medical supplies.
  • Bartenders are quest givers.
  • Technicians repair and upgrade your gears.

Complete Warlock Debtor’s sidequest

This will get you a rifle with a sniper scope. One of the best long-range weapons at the start of the game.

NPCs Life Matters

Avoid killing the named NPCs as it might affect your future growth and choices. The NPC that you might have killed must have certain quests that should have affected the plot development and endings.

Tricks

How To Bypass The Weight System

You can only carry a certain weight in your inventory until it hampers your stamina and restricts movement completely. However, instead of carrying everything in your inventory, you can harvest all the weapons and useful resources and stash them into a single corpse.

Carry the corpse and bring it into the settlement to sell everything useful. The corpse can be viewed as an additional briefcase or backpack where you can store all the weapons dropped without exceeding your inventory weight or going encumbered. It is better to walk than to restrict your movement or lose all the precious coupons.

Check For Artifacts

The game offers artifacts in the most dangerous areas where anomalies literally affect the area and surroundings. Pull out your Echo Detector and start searching for the artifact. The Echo Detector will start blinking quickly when you get close. The Artifacts will appear when you get too close to the invisible artifacts.

The first artifact will be behind the boiler house i.e. inside the cave at Thermal anomalies.

Change The Ammo Types

You can change the ammo type of the weapon by opening the weapon wheel and pressing the button “N” on the keyboard. Additionally, you can change the fire type as well by pressing “B” on the keyboard.

Fighting Mutants

Mutants do not attack relentlessly as they prefer hit-and-run tactics. So, you can either take high ground or create distance so that their attack cannot reach you while you can shoot them to death.

Dealing with Trench coat mutants is different where they can drop your primary equipped weapon and even use it against you. Therefore while facing such mutant monsters, use your handgun only.
