Dragon Ball Sparking Zero – How To Deflect Beams & Master It
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is an action multiplayer 3D combat game where players brawl with their favorite Dragon Ball characters. If you are familiar with the legendary game Budokai Tenkaichi then you are surely going to love this.
After all the battle experience from Budokai Tenkaichi 3, we have learned that you can deflect the ki volley. However, in the trailer or gameplay, we are shown that you can even deflect the Kamehameha beam or super blast. This was a wow moment for all the players and everyone wanted to master that move as soon as they loaded the game on their console. Sadly, when they go into the game or in-game tutorial there was no explanation about it.
Do not worry this guide explains everything you need to know and master the super blast or beam deflection instantaneously. We have provided all the buttons that you need to press whether you are on PS 5 or Xbox controller.
How To Deflect Beams In Dragon Ball Sparking Zero?
Most importantly to deflect the Super Blast or beam, you will need a minimum of 2 Ki energy bar. There are two major control types i.e. Standard and Classic. Each control type will change the button you need to press to deflect the Beam.
Standard Control
You will need to press the “Circle” on the PS5 controller or the “B” button on the Xbox controller to activate Perception before the beam hits you to deflect. Holding the Perception will deplete the Ki Charge so keep your meter or bar in check always.
Classic Control
To deflect the Super Blast or Beam, you will need to press “Triangle + Circle” at the same time to activate Perception. Similarly, for Xbox controllers, you will need to press the “Y + B” button together to deflect the Beam.
You can go to the Training Mode and practice this against the bot. Set the bot to use long-range Blasts by changing their Opponent Settings and Strategy to Defense Strategy: Blasts.
