James explores all the Apartments and unlocks the doors that have initials engraved on them. He discovers that Apartment Number 202 is filled with annoying Moth. There are huge dead Moths that will be on display and a door i.e. locked with a strong lock with a 3-digit code. What is the code and how do you solve the Moth puzzle?
Moth Puzzle Solution For Apartment 202 In Silent Hill 2 Remake
The solution to the Moth puzzle is quite simple if you focus on the lock instead of the Moths. Break the wall and reveal the Moth that was hidden behind the wardrobe. Once you have exposed all the Moths i.e. a total of 7 in all of the room. Watch the pattern on their wings or body.
Count the different patterns and add them to enter the padlock. The total number or digit for each pattern should be:
- Crescent Moon – 8
- Skull – 2
- Eye – 5
Follow the equation which will be shown next to the lock. The equation is quite easy as you either need to add or subtract the number. For example –
- Crescent Moon – Eye = 3
- Skull + Eye = 7
- Eye – Skull = 3
It’s been seen that in higher difficulty the puzzle gets tougher, therefore the solution in Hard mode would be 5-2-2. This is a completely different code from the Standard mode which is 3-7-3.
