Satisfactory – how to fix the missing game executable error
Players are quite eager and restless to start playing the 1.0 Satisfactory that has been released officially on 10 September 2024. This is just simply too good to be an open-world crafting and building game with your friends. This is a new generation where manual labor is simply minimized with the help of technology and obvious automation. The end goal is to automate all the production and generate efficient output potential.
Well that being said, it is only possible if players are able to enter and start playing the game. Players or gamers are experiencing an error while launching the game i.e. Missing Game Executable which is related to the .exe file. What is the error and how do we fix it?
How to fix the .exe file issue or missing game executable error in Satisfactory
At the time of writing this post, the game has been patched and all you need is to verify the integrity of the game files. If you are still having an error then you can fix it manually by going into the directory where the game is installed.
In your case, the executable or .exe game file would be named FactoryGameSteam.exe. All you need is to rename the .exe file to FactoryGame.exe and voila it will start working. All the errors were due to the extra word Steam on the .exe file which prevented you from enjoying the game.
