Satisfactory – How To Snap To World/Global Grid

Satisfactory is a first-person open-world crafting and base-building game that allows you to construct working factories as you explore the alien planet i.e. rich in resources and wildlife. Gather the important resources that can be harvested and build a working factory to expand and automate the process.

The game is co-op multiplayer so you can experience the joy of building the empire from scratch is indescribable. However, while laying a foundation it gets quite difficult to align everything perfectly. Is there any way to use the Snapping function to lay the foundation and align it pixel-perfect?

How To Snap To World/Global Grid While Building In Satisfactory?

While building or in Build Mode if you want to snap the foundation with respect to the World Grid, then press the Ctrl key while placing. The foundation you are using should be atleast 2m or 4m foundations to snap perfectly due to how uneven land can be. It ensures that the height difference does not get shallow when going for vertical alignment.

Additionally, make sure that if you have installed Game Mods then the keybinds have been overwritten or not if it’s not working.

If your Ctrl Key is still not working then close the game and verify the integrity of the game files to ensure everything is perfect. Start the game which should fix the issue.
