Core Keeper – How To Start Fishing And Farm Skill Point

Core Keeper

In Core Keeper there are various skills for each action including the non-combat skills that are Fishing, Cooking, etc. We know that to increase the Skill Points we are required to perform actions repeatedly and each successful action will grant you a level for the skill. For example- the act of cooking will not increase your level but successfully cooking a dish will give you XP.

So, it’s a no-brainer that to increase the skill points related to fishing we need to fish at the fishing spots found in water. However, these fishing spots spawn sometimes close and sometimes far away. It takes time to respawn the fishing spots back at a certain area which makes it difficult to skill up the Fishing Skill. Well, here’s what you need to do!

How To Start Fishing And Farm Skill Points in Core Keeper?

Get a fishing rod which is essential for fishing. If you do not have one, then upgrade your Workbench and it will be available to craft. Next, the fishing spots in the water will guarantee your fish ingredients and random valuables quickly. However, once it’s depleted you search for different fishing spots, right?

Wrong, as mentioned earlier you need to perform fishing action successfully. it doesn’t depend on the item or ingredients you are catching. Simply, perform the fishing action and you are good to go. Throw the fishing rod into the water at the no-fishing spot area and wait for it to catch any items that are mostly trash.

The difference you can see is that the Fishing Skill Level is increasing at a normal pace but the time it takes to fish in the non-fishing spot is longer compared to the fishing spots. However, if you are still running and mining around, it will take much longer to max the fishing skill. So, this is still the fastest way to increase the fishing level and earn the skill points to unlock important skills.
