Core Keeper – How And Where To Find + Defeat Urschleim

In the Core Keeper, there are multiple hidden bosses that you can find and encounter in the game; but unlike traditional games; you need to craft items to find its lair and summon the boss. Today, we are posting about the Urschleim who is a notorious green amoeba or slime that does not care who it tramples. It is not a tough boss fight unless you know what you are doing.

How To Find Urschleim In Core Keeper?

If you have traveled to the farthest part of the area where you encounter the indestructible wall, the area of the Biome will be known as The Passage. There will be a network of small passages which will be already laid out as you cannot break or mine the wall at the current state unless you have a Sulfur bomb.

Advance and you will find a Rift statue in The Passage. To scan the world for Urschleim and craft Urschleim Scanner, you will need:

Ancient Gemstone x20
Mechanical Part x20
Cytoplasm x20

How To Summon Urschleim

Initially, the Urschleim will be patroling her own path around The Passage. The amoeba can one-shot you so not matter how much HP you have, all you need is to maintain distance and deal enough DPS. To re-summon the Urschleim aka the ancient lifeform, then you will need to craft Primeval Slime Cell. The materials required are:

Cytoplasm x40
Ancient Gemstone x30

In The Passage, you can resummon the Urschleim using the Primeval Slime Cell anywhere. However, if you resummon him, he will summon next to you; so be sure that you have enough space to fight against the boss.

How To Defeat Urschleim

Well, Urschleim is a tricky boss and to defeat it, you will require time and vision of the biome, The Passage. So, before engaging against the Urschleim make sure you have enough vision of the biome or path as it will take time depending on your DPS.

The best weapon to deal with high DPS would be Stormbringer which can be crafted from the Rift Statue. It is an upgraded version of Obliteration Ray. Other than that you have Phantom Spark for enough damage but it will take time compared to the Stormbringer.

Weak Spots

There are 3 eyes that can be only targeted. Destroy all the 3 eyes and the body will be revealed. Smack the body with your highest damage-dealing weapon. After a while the body will return and the amoeba train will start moving revealing the three eyes again.

After each phase, the movement speed of Urschleim will increase. So be aware and repeat the process until you destroy the original body. The most important part is that you do not want to get cornered, so make sure you have discovered the path in The Passage i.e. enough for the fight duration.
