One of the initial bosses in Core Keeper would be Malugaz The Corrupted. At the starting point, we learned the names of the three bosses, and as we can see in-game the area to explore is huge. Where To Find And Defeat Malugaz The Corrupted In Core Keeper?
To defeat Malugaz The Corrupted, you need to find his throne room which is the most important part. The throne room will be in The Forgotten Ruins which will be spherical in shape if you see it on your map. There will be some type of symbol engraved on the ground in the center of the room which is hard to miss.
The next part is to summon Malugaz The Corrupted. For that, you will need to reforge the Skull of the Corrupted Shaman. Place the Skull of the Corrupted Shaman on top of the symbol i.e. engraved on the ground. It is a one-time use item which means the Skull of the Corrupted Shaman will be consumed after summoning Malugaz The Corrupted.
How To Defeat Malugaz The Corrupted?
Malugaz The Corrupted has various attack patterns that he will spam on. First, he has a fireball projectile that has a low hitbox. Second, watch the ground as he can summon the fire from the ground. In a pinch, he can teleport out.
Forgot to mention you guys but this boss also has a second phase. Now, he can also teleport and mostly spam a punch-dash combo. Other than that there is no more attack pattern witnessed. During the dash-punch combo, he will torch the area of impact. The chaotic part is that the flame lasts for too long.
To defeat, you will need to have tons of potions and buffs from foods. For the fight stack all the foods in your inventory and keep on healing and attacking. He has huge HP so if your attack damage is too low then it might take some time. It is not a good idea to use Explosive bombs as he will chase you via teleportation.
