How To Feed Cattle And Let Them Follow You In Core Keeper?
Initially, to befriend the cattle; you are required to feed them so that they are full and happy. The easiest and most abundant feed you can have at this stage would be Glow Tulip, Mushroom, Pepper, and Berry. Cattle prefer crops and these are all base crops that are used for cooking.
To let them follow you from their meadow, you will need to simply hold these crops in your hand and lead them back to your base. Make sure you do not run too fast and leave them behind or change your equipped hand.
How To Check What Food Can Be Used As A Cattle Feed?
In the future, if you are in doubt about whether the food items you have in inventory can be used to feed your cattle. You can simply craft a Feeding Tray from the Livestock Workbench and try to store items to experiment with whether they can be fed or not. If it is stored, then the cattle most probably prefer these crops.
