Black Myth Wukong – how to increase Curios slot & upgrade Armor

Black Myth WukongIn Black Myth Wukong, there are several armors and staffs that each have unique effects and stats i.e. suitable for a set of periods. The higher drops make the old armor unusable because it’s a no-brainer that you will be using the higher stats item. Stats are always greater than the Unique effects. So, what if we can upgrade the armor and increase the stats? Can we do it and as well as increase the number of Curios slots?

How To Upgrade The Armor In Black Myth Wukong?

First and foremost, you will need to find the Chen Loong and defeat him. Chen Loong can be found in the water body near the colossal-sized turtle. Travel to the Bitter Lake (North Shore of the Bitter Lake), and progress left side and towards the coastline near the turtle.

Chen Loong can be spotted from afar and once you enter the territory, the fight will begin which will lead you to complete a task for him. The questline requires you to travel to Crouching Tiger Temple (Cellar). Simply Talk to Xu Dog and he will give you a key item i.e. “Special-made Bone-Strengthening Pellet“.

Go back to Chen Loong and deliver the key item to him at the same location but this time he will be near the shore. He will give you a Painted Realm where the NPCs are gathered. Inside the Painted Realm, talk to the Yin Tiger who can upgrade armor including the crafting of armor and staffs.

How To Increase Curios Slot?

There is an interaction with Yin Tiger and if you Challenge him then the duel will begin. Defeat him and the third curios slot will be unlocked. You will also obtain a spell Ebon Flow.
