Canyon Reed will be commonly found in the water at Pillar Canyon biome of the Upper Plains. The rarer Canyon Reeds are found in the Stone Forest Stream, behind The Great Tusk on the eastern side of the Upper Plains. It is recommended to harvest in the daytime to increase the chance of getting the Superior or Exquisite quality.
It is recommended to have the skill “Stable Hand” unlocked so that the difficulty will be lowered during harvesting. This will allow you to collect all the materials in Pristine condition. Cooking and eating “Navao’s Niktsyey” will greatly assist you in the search as all the Superior and Exquisite quality materials will be highlighted without even using the Na’vi senses.
