Disney Dreamlight Valley – Diamond In The Rough
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, after obtaining both the Scarab pieces in your inventory, you need to assemble the Scarab key. Visit Gaston in the Glittering Dunes and interact with him to assemble to key. Once assembled follow the Scarab trail to The Wastes area.
After reaching the area, the cave of wonders will come out of sand that you need to enter by interacting with it. Below you will find a brief guide on how to solve the laser puzzle to open the gates and complete the quest.

Once inside you need to explore the area and find a way to open the gate. Keep progressing forward till you find a blue coil on the ground. Pick it up and place it on the power receptacle. Go ahead till you reach the closed gate. To open the gate, you need to place the laser light on the right side of the gate too.
On the right side, you will find a power receptacle and a lever beside it. Pull the lever by interacting with it to activate the laser and open the gate. Get past the gate to find another gate that needs to be powered up. To cross the next you need to activate the first light interrupter and the second light interrupter.
After crossing the first gate, on the left side area, you will find an ancient mirror and two levers that you need to pull. After pulling the lever, place the ancient mirror to activate the first light interrupter. On the right side, you will find a puzzle to power up the coil. You need to look at the ground to turn the switches and power up the coil 100%. Once powered up place it on the power receptacle to open the second gate.
Keep exploring the cave further to find the jewel of time, pick up the jewel, and leave the cave of wonders. Outside interact with Gaston to complete the quest.
