In Lego Fortnite, the marble and marble slab are the resources you will require early game. But before you can get your hands on the marble, you have to upgrade your crafting bench. To upgrade your crafting bench you will need a resource called Shell.

Once you have upgraded your crafting bench you will be able to craft the uncommon forest axe. To craft the uncommon forest axe, you will need a wooden rod and bone. Bone can be obtained by defeating the skeletons that appear at night. You can craft a wooden sword or ask your villagers for help to defeat the skeletons.

Wooden rods can be crafted by placing wood in the lumber mill. The lumber mill can be built from the build menu and to build one you will need 8x wood and 15x granite. Once you have the required resources, craft the forest axe and visit any nearby cave.

If you have explored the nearby areas you can map your map to find the mountain icon. Otherwise, if the icon is not located on your map, you can explore to find a big rocky structure with an entrance. Go inside the cave to find branches that you need to destroy to get Knotwood.

With Knotwood you will be able to craft the Uncommon Pickaxe from the crafting bench. Visit the cave again to mine the rocks to find marble. To get marble slabs you will have to craft stone break from the build menu. To craft the stone breaker you will need 20x Knotwood and 35x marble. In the stone breaker, you can place marble to get marble slabs.
