Super Mario RPG Remake Tadpole Melody Bay Music Puzzle Guide
To cross the pond you need to jump on the toads to compose their favorite music. After crossing the river, you will obtain cards as rewards. On the right side of the Tadpole pond, you will find a tadpole who will give you a song called “So La Mi Re Do Re Do Re”.
When you reach the pond and stand on the rock, you will find tadpoles coming out of the water moving a bit forward, and then going back inside the water. You need to jump on them at the correct notes to complete the puzzle.
The music notes are:
- Mi – 1
- Re – 2
- Do – 3
- Ti – 4
- La – 5
- So – 6
- Fa – 7
So for the song “So La Mi Re Do Re Do Re”, you need to jump on the tadpoles at “6, 5, 1, 2, 3, 2, 3, 2”
order. When a tadpole comes out of the water it will be counted as 1. Each time it moves forward it will increase the number. So if you want to jump on a tadpole at 6th note, you need to jump on them after they have moved forward 5 times.
To complete the first puzzle, you need to jump on the first tadpole after he has moved forward 5 times, the second tadpole 4 times, the third tadpole as soon as it comes out of the water, and so on. There are two more songs that you can find while exploring different areas.
To find the second song, you need to complete the Moleville area and then return to the mine to talk with the moles. Then visit the tadpole pond to play this note and the solution of the second song is “1, 3, 6, 3, 2, 5, 4, 3”.
The third song can be found in the Monstro Town Inn, go to the upper floor and interact with the pink star. The solution to this song is “5, 4, 3, 2, 6, 3, 2, 1”. Now go to the tadpole pond, and jump on the tadpole in these orders to complete the puzzle.
