In Remnant 2 The Awakened King DLC, you will find new corrupted weapons. These corrupted weapons are the corrupted versions of the weapons already available in the game. To get a corrupted weapon, you will need to original weapon and 10 corrupted shards. Then visit the relic fragment merchant “Dwell” and craft it. To obtain corrupted shards you will have to defeat the new Aberrations bosses. There is no particular location for these bosses and you can find them in any world while exploring. Losomn and Yaesha are the two best worlds to farm corrupted shards.

The best way to farm these shards is by visiting these worlds and finding a bunch of enemies. Kill all the enemies except 1. Keep dodging its attacks and after some time you will hear a horn and new enemies will spawn. Sometimes these enemies can be Aberrations they can be normal enemies too.

If you find normal enemies, repeat the same process again. Kill everyone and keep one alive. After a few minutes if you are not finding an Aberrations, change the location or reset the world.  Fighting with any normal enemies can trigger an Aberrations to spawn.

The Aberrations are powerful bosses that have a red color aura around them. These bosses can be difficult to kill. Once killed they will drop various items including the Corrupted Shards. You can have a maximum of up to 10 shards in your inventory. Any more shards picked up after having 10 will turn into scrap. Killing these Aberrations will also drop Corrupted Lumenite Crystal.
