Once you start the game, you will be given multiple choices as there are a number of classes from which you can choose. The starting class will dictate the flow of the game as per your play style. The game offers you 9 starting classes if you exclude the Dark Crusader class which you might have obtained from the Deluxe Edition. Dark Crusader is a secret class that can be unlocked later in the game if you have not purchased the Deluxe Edition. However, for a few of those who have purchased the Deluxe Edition, we have included Dark Crusader in the list of all the starting classes that we have explained.

Hallowed Knight
  • The standard knight class has a Short Sword in the main hand and a Medium Shield in the off-hand equipped for balanced gameplay.
  • The stats are more focused on Strength, Endurance, and Vitality which makes him an excellent melee combatant who has higher stamina and health pool.
  • The class has a Grenade i.e. a type of Ammunition which inflicts fire damage.
  • The class has a Briostone Pair as a Quick Access Item from the beginning that heals over time for a small amount.
Udirangr Warwolf

Blackfeather Ranger

Dark Crusader

  • The stats are more focused on Strength, Endurance, Vitality, and Radiance which makes it one of the durable hard hitters.
  • The class starts with Radiantburst Parchment i.e. a type of Ammunition that inflicts holy damage and heal allies.
  • No additional consumables.

The starter classes in the Lords Of The Fallen simply provide a unique advantage in stats and weapons in the beginning. It gives general direction and bonus stats on which route you want to take your character. Mostly players opt to increase their main stats all along but they can redistribute it and change their type of combat at any stage of time.
