Thief Simulator 2 Get Out Of Jail & Police Station Exit Key Location

Thief Simulator 2 is a simulation game where you take up the role of a thief who has to repay the debt of a criminal organization. While playing the story mode in hardcore mode, getting caught will land you up in jail and all your stolen goods will be confiscated.

During the day, it might be a bit difficult to escape as you might not know the routine of all four guards. Breaking the jail cell using a crowbar during the day will alert the guard. If while breaking you hear a lady guard voice, run towards the left side stairs. If you hear a man’s voice, go towards the right side stairs. There are three different exits available in the police station and for that, you will need the exit key.

The camera security panel will be in the conference room, but to disable it you need electronics level 1. Decent SSD can be found in the boss room and iMac on the office floor 2. Below you will find different ways to obtain the exit key, break out of the jail cell, and escape the police station.

Note: Inside the jail cell you can interact with your bed to bail out using money, but this way you won’t be able to loot all the precious items available at the police station.

Once inside the jail, the police will confiscate all of your items. There are two ways to open the jail cell. One is by brute force using the crowbar, the other by lockpicking skill. If you get caught early on in the game, you won’t have the required skill for lockpicking, and using a crowbar will be your only option.

Inside the jail cell in a corner, you will find a crowbar. You can find a few police officers patrolling the area, whom you can mark to check their patrolling route. The second thing you need to take care of is the exit door key. Even if you break out of the jail cell, to escape the police station, you will need the exit key.

There are two ways to obtain the required key, one is by pickpocketing the patrolling officer. But if you don’t have the pickpocket skill yet, you can find the exit key on the first floor. Use the crowbar to break out of the jail cell and go right. There you will find a security camera that can be marked to avoid detection.

Go up the stairs and take a left to find another security camera that you need to dodge. Then keep going straight in the hallway and on the left you will find a meeting room as shown in the image above. There on the table, you will find the exit key. Now all you need to do is go to the top of the building using the stairs, avoiding police officers and security cameras. There you will find the exit door, use the key to escape to your hideout. Doing so for the first time will also unlock an achievement called “Prison Break”.
