But befriending a dinosaur can be a bit tricky as you need to play the flute mini-game to gain their trust, keep a balance between soothing them or feeding them, and finally choose the dinosaur’s favorite Poppins. In Paleo Pines, taming a dinosaur requires a delicate approach to get their attention without scaring them away. To successfully accomplish this task, follow these steps carefully.
- Approach Slowly: When attempting to tame a dinosaur, the first step is to approach them slowly. However, be cautious not to get too close, as this might cause them to flee.
- Play the Yoohoo Note: To capture a dinosaur’s attention, you need to play the Yoohoo note, which is represented as a 3x Red note.
- Respond to Sound Waves: Once you play the Yoohoo note, the dinosaur will emit specific sound waves, which serve as a friendly call. Your task is to mimic these sound waves using your flute. The sound waves come in four different colors: red, yellow, blue, and purple.
How to mimic the friend call:
- Tap the note button once to send out sound waves with a normal-sized bubble for the sound note with no circle around.
- Hold the note button for a brief moment to produce a medium-sized bubble for the sound note with 1 circle around it.
- Hold the note button for an extended period to create a large bubble for the sound note with 2 circles around it.
- Monitor the Green Zone Meter: After successfully mimicking the friend call, you will notice a meter at the bottom right corner of the screen. This meter indicates the dinosaur’s response to your actions.
- Feeding: When you offer the dinosaur a food item it likes, the meter will move towards the right.
- Soothing: Using the soothing option will make the meter shift towards the left.
- Keep the Meter in the Green Zone: Your goal is to maintain the meter within the green zone by providing the dinosaur with its favorite food, known as Poppins. Dinosaurs have specific preferences when it comes to food, and Poppins are their favorite choice. Feeding them Poppins while keeping the meter in the green zone is crucial for taming the dinosaurs.
- Successful Befriending: Once you have successfully fed the dinosaur its favorite Poppins while ensuring the meter remains in the green zone, the meter will disappear. Congratulations, you have now befriended the dinosaur!
