In the Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways DLC, you’ll encounter optional missions, including merchant contracts. The game features a total of seven contracts, and one of them involves locating and selling the Lord of the Waterway to a merchant. However, contrary to the description that suggests you might spot a giant shadow moving through the waters of Gregorio’s waterways, you’ll need to search for something else. Below, we’ll guide you on where and how to find the Lord of the Waterway.
Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways Where To Find Lord Of The Waterway
To locate the Lord of the Waterway in Gregorio’s Waterway, you’ll need to follow a specific set of steps. Exploring the tunnels and sewers within Gregorio’s Waterway requires you to first lower the water level. This can be accomplished by rotating the handwheel located within the area. Adjacent to the handwheel on the right side, you’ll come across an open suitcase. Inside this suitcase, a Bioscope sensor awaits.
The Bioscope sensor will prove invaluable for your journey through the tunnels of Gregorio’s Waterway, as they tend to be quite dark. Once you’ve successfully lowered the water level and obtained the Bioscope sensor, it’s time to retrace your steps and continue in the direction from which you came. Just before the location where you found the merchant contract, on your right, there will be a door. Open this door to reveal a merchant. On the left side of this area, you’ll find a ladder leading down into the depths of Gregorio’s Waterway tunnels.
Once inside the tunnel network, your primary objective is to locate a particular fish. Surprisingly, the Lord of the Waterway is not a formidable monster or mini-boss but rather a fish swimming in the water. Utilize the Bioscope sensor to find the fish, take aim, and shoot it. After successfully catching the fish, refrain from consuming it, as doing so will prevent you from obtaining the associated reward. Sell it to the merchant to obtain 8000 pesetas and you will complete the contract to obtain 8x Spinel.
