Baldurs Gate 3- How To Start Split-Screen Co-Op Multiplayer
Baldurs Gate 3 is a party-based role-playing game set in the Dungeons & Dragon-themed world. In each and every corner of the world, you will meet with potential allies that can join your party to venture out for a common goal. Similarly, in the real world, we have friends and companions who want to play and enjoy the story and game together at the same pace on the same screen. So, is it possible to start the game or someone hop in the middle to play the split screen?
How To Start Split-Screen Co-Op Multiplayer In Baldurs Gate 3
Initially, at early access, the game did not support the local split-screen but after the full release, Larian Studios has indeed added the feature to let their siblings or friends play together on the same PC. The only downside of it would be that the number of players that can play together is limited to 2 and you both need to play with the controllers.
You can either start together with your friends from the character customization screen which will allow each of you to create one. However, if you and your friend decide to hop in the middle of the game then there’s no need to worry as you will be still able to play split-screen. Though the second player might have to play as one of the companions i.e. currently in your team.
Simply, hit the button on your controller when it is connected and you are good to go. There are no extra settings required. For more informative guides on Baldur’s Gate 3, click on the link that has been mentioned below the description:
