Minecraft- How To Find Or Distinguish Suspicious Sand And Gravel
In Minecraft, the biomes and everything exists in blocks, and distinguishing Suspicious Sand as well as Gravel can be considered one of the difficult tasks if you don’t know where to look at. These fragile blocks hold Sniffer Egg, Pottery Sherds, Smithing Template, and various other items. After the 1.20 Update in Minecraft, let’s see where can these be found and what to be aware of while searching for suspicious sand and gravel.
How To Find Or Distinguish Suspicious Sand And Gravel In Minecraft
Suspicious Sand and Gravel are hard to distinguish unless you are attentive and know where to look. These suspicious resources are a little bit dark and pixelated blocks compared to the original as shown in the image below:
Suspicious Sand can be found in these 3 biomes as mentioned:
Desert Well
Desert Well is a structure that holds water beneath at Desert biomes. Under the water source, dig carefully as there would be a few mix-ins of suspicious and original sands. Watch out for the slightly dark-colored sand blocks that you need to brush instead of break.
Warm Ocean Ruins
The Warm Ocean Ruins are found on the surface of the warm, lukewarm, and deep lukewarm ocean biomes. Look out for the sand blocks as shown in the image inside the ocean. The blocks can be viewed as somewhat dark compared to other sand blocks. Do not break it, rather brush it in order to collect what is inside it.
Desert Pyramid
Inside the Pyramid, find and enter the underground entrance. Once you have entered the buried room through the buried staircase, there would be so many original and suspicious sands that can be found inside the room.
Suspicious Gravel can be found in cold biomes.
Cold Ocean Ruins
At cold and frozen biomes we can find suspicious gravel at the ruins found in the ocean. At the base of the ruins, you can find that it is supported by gravels that are mixed with suspicious gravels alongside the original. Similarly, the color of the gravel will be slightly dark compared to the original. Make sure to brush and do not let it fall or else it will break.
Trail Ruins
Trail Ruins are formed underground in taiga biomes, Snowy taiga, growth birch forest, jungle, old-growth spruce taiga, and old-growth pine taiga. For identification, a small part of the trail ruins will extend out to the surface that cannot be missed. Even Trail ruins can be found in the aquifers, and rivers too. Look out for any out-of-the-place blocks in the biomes which will lead you to the Trail Ruins. Be careful not to destroy the suspicious sands and gravel as you will encounter it quite often.
