Lies Of P How To Defeat Parade Master

Lies Of P

In the “Lies Of P Demo,” the initial boss encounter introduces the parade master, a formidable foe. This boss takes the form of a large puppet adorned with a cage on its back. The battle against the parade master consists of two distinct phases, with the second phase triggered once the boss’s HP bar reaches the halfway point. During this second phase, the boss’s attack pattern undergoes a transformation, becoming more aggressive and challenging.

To emerge victorious in this encounter, it is crucial to master the techniques of perfect guarding and dodging. These defensive maneuvers are essential for withstanding the boss’s onslaught and creating openings for successful counterattacks. By effectively perfect guarding, you can block the parade master’s attacks, minimizing the damage received and creating opportunities to strike back. Additionally, dodging allows you to evade the boss’s onslaught, providing a chance to retaliate with precision.

You can refer to the previous post on how to execute a perfect guard, which enables you to block all damage, even from bosses.

Lies Of P How To Defeat Parade Master

In the first phase, the parade master possesses three to four types of attacks: belly smash, dash, one-handed attack, and double-handed attack. The attack window is relatively short because he maintains a continuous assault, requiring you to react swiftly to evade and counterattack. The only significant opening for inflicting heavy damage occurs after the belly smash when the parade master takes a moment to rise again. Once the boss’s HP drops to 50%, the second phase begins.

In the second phase, he removes his head, with the spine as a weapon to extend his attack range. During this stage, he primarily swings the weapon multiple times, dashes, and performs belly smashes. Following the belly smash, there is another opportunity to strike, but this time, he swings his weapon while getting back on his feet, inflicting damage.

You can also use fable art to deal heavy damage to the boss. Each sword and handle have its own fable art. To use sword fable art, you need to press the “Triangle” button on PlayStation or “Y” button on the Xbox controller. To use the handle fable art, you need to press the guard button and “Triangle” or “Y”. You can use the fable art only if the blue bar below your stamina bar is full.
