In The Last Case Of Benedict Fox, you will encounter a lot of puzzles. To solve these puzzles you will need to find certain items first. Two puzzles you will encounter on the right side of the Mansion in the garden area that needs a Conundrum device and Conundrum key. Below you will find the solution to these puzzles and how to open them.
The Last Case Of Benedict Fox How To Open Garden Chest
To open the garden chest, you need to have all three keys that open up the door in the basement and the Conundrum device. While inspecting the device you will find a keyhole where you need to put the conundrum key. The Conundrum key takes the shape of the symbol that you make in the device and then can be used to open a statue or solve a puzzle.
In the garden chest, you will find 4 key slots where you need to put the key. Above the key slots, there is a mathematical question that you need to solve to open the chest. Each key has a symbol on it and these symbols represent a number that you can check in the Conundrum note.
The equation shown in the chest is X-100+10+1=1810. So you need to find the value of X, form the symbol in the Conundrum device and use the Conundrum key to engrave the symbol on the key. Then place the key in the chest to open it.
The value of X, in this case, is 1899, so you need to form the symbol in the Conundrum device as shown in the above image, and use the key to open the chest.
How To Solve Garden Statue Puzzle
Similarly, as you open the garden chest in this puzzle you need to find the first number by solving the equation and use the Conundrum key to solve the statue puzzle. The equation can be a bit tricky because the last operator can seem like a multiplication sign but it is an addition symbol.
