The Last Case Of Benedict Fox is a Metroidvania-style investigation game. To complete the game you will have to scour the areas multiple times, looking at every corner for some items or notes that will help with your investigation. One such item you will come across in the game is the Conundrum device which will help you greatly in unlocking many doors. Below you will find where to get this device and how to upgrade it.
The Last Case Of Benedict Fox Conundrum Device Upgrades Location
The Conundrum device is one of the most important devices in this game that will unlock various blocked walls and can open up rifts. You will first find the device after unlocking the door to the father’s garden which will be located on the left side of the mansion.
To key to unlocking the door will be located in your mother Limbo near the “Father Garden Entrance” anchor. There you will find a key and conundrum notes. Take the key to the mansion and unlock the door to the father garden where you will find the Conundrum device. At first, the device will be broken and only 2 out of 4 dials could be rotated.
As the device is broken, it could only open up a few blocked walls. You need to fix the device by finding two upgrades which are Conundrum Wheels Of Hundred and Conundrum Wheels Of Thousand. Once you find both the upgrades, you could open up rifts and open up all the blocked walls.

Follow the pathway as shown in the image above to find both upgrades. To start your journey, you need to first solve a wall puzzle just after the mirror room. You can check out our previous guide here on how to solve the wall puzzle after the mirror room.
After finding the first upgrade, you need to break the floor with the companion dive ability and then continue your journey to obtain the second upgrade. After obtaining both the upgrades you can visit the weaponsmith to fix your conundrum device.
