Dredge All Relics Location & How To Get Them
In Dredge you take up the role of the fisherman in a mysterious town where you meet a collector that asks you to find relics. The main quest of the game is for you to find all the relics and bring it back to the collector. But there’s always more to the story than simply returning the relics, you can also unlock a different ending for the game. To find out about all the endings, you can checkout our previous guide HERE. Below you will find the location of all the relics and how to get them.
Dredge All Relics Location
There is a total of 5 Relics scattered across the map that you need to find and return to the Collector. After returning each relic you will obtain a certain ability. Below you will find the location of each relic and how to obtain them
Dredge Ornate Key Relic
To find the Ornate key, you need to visit the backside of the Greater Marrow near the small Islands I7 coordinates. During the night time, you can find a red light coming out of the sea and during the day you can find some red particles coming out near the wreck.
Dredge Music Box Relic
After returning the first relic to the collector, he will give you the map for the music box relic that is located on the N3 coordinates of Gale Cliffs. But upon reaching the area you will find the path blocked by rocks.
To clear the rocks you will need an item called “Packed Explosives”. Chat with the NPC near the docks and nearby town dock Retired Whaler and complete their quest. You will have to find the family Crest and return it to NPC to complete the quest. The crest will be located in O3 coordinates. After completing the quest, you will unlock the Whaling Yards at Ingfell town and there you can buy the packed explosives.
Jewel Encrusted Band Ring Relic
The third relic is located in the middle of the Stellar Basin but there will be sea monsters who won’t let you reach the middle. To make the sea monster go away you will need a Repulsion Machine and use it on the station generator to light up the area.
These lights will turn off automatically after some time, so you will have limited time to go and get the relic from the middle before the sea monsters could come back. Lights can be turned on again from the station to make the sea monsters go away.
To obtain the Repulsion Machine, you will have to go to the old fortress in D5 and complete the researcher quest. To complete this quest you need to upgrade your equipment and catch an Aurora Jellyfish, Firefly Squid, and Glowing Octopus. You will also need a Trawling net to be able to catch the Aurora Jellyfish.
After handing over the fish, you will have to find some prototype parts from the research outpost. The location of the research outpost is G4. After handing over the prototype parts you will obtain the Repulsion Machine.
Shimmering Necklace Relic
To find the necklace relic you need to find a NPC called Airman in the Twisted Strand region. You can find this NPC in between E-F 13 coordinates. He will give you a quest to find the lost pieces of his squadron mortars and will mark the location on your map.
After that you need to catch fish to make some bait for the mind sucker monster. Once you have got the bait, you need to lure the monsters to the traps and kill them. Then return to the Airman and he will give you the necklace relic.
Dredge Pocket Watch Relic
To find the final pocket watch relic, you need to visit the Devil’s spine there you will find a NPC called Fanatic who will ask you to retrive three fathomless flames. These flames can be found in the rock slabs by sacrificing certain fish. Once you have obtained all fathomless flames, bring it back to the Fanatic and he will give you the pocket watch relic.
