Smalland Survive The Wilds has various different types of weapons, armor, and resources. These resources can be harvested or collected by exploring the vast land. While your main character is small, everything around you will be a lot bigger. To traverse this vast land, you can tame a creature and use its ability. One of the important resources you will need later in the game to craft armor is silk. Below you will find where to find silk and the weapon required to harvest it.
Smalland Survive The Wilds Silk Location
Silks are used to craft clothing and armor in this game and are one of the important resources that you have to harvest. Silks can be found on the west side of the map, near the spider boss Albino Spider. There in the caves, you will find some Spider Cocoons that you need to harvest to obtain silk.
To harvest these cocoons you need a special weapon called Flint Shears. Without this weapon, you won’t be able to harvest the spider cocoons, and to craft one, you will need 5x Fiber, 5x Resin, 8x Flint, and 5x Refined Wood.
Fiber can be obtained by chopping down small plants and saplings. To obtain Resin you need to find the orange color jelly-like substance in trees or saplings just like you see in the real world. Flint can be obtained on the beach shore, you need to find black-colored rocks coming out of the sand. To obtain refined wood, you will need to stone cutter, and the resources required are wood and seed oil.
Once you have crafted the Flint Shears, you will be able to harvest the spider cocoons. Equip the Flint Shears and hit the spider cocoon till they break and drop spider eggs. Collect these eggs to obtain the spider eggs and silk. If you are having trouble fighting off the spiders while harvesting cocoons, you can play the game in peaceful mode.
