In Sons Of The Forest, each passing time is gruesome as the survival game relies on how you use your resources and deal with the cannibals. The map is quite huge and your task is to find the billionaires who went missing. Surviving alone or with friends, the most anticipated co-op horror survival multiplayer is back to steal all your sleep as we immerse deep into it. However, during combat one thing that ticks is we can’t quickly switch or equip items or assign a button for an item. Let’s check if there is a solution or any alternative for that.
What Are The Hotkeys Or Bag Quickslots At Sons Of The Forest?
The game allows us to craft and build specific structures whose blueprints are listed in the Journal. However, as we start anew, all the items are taken out of your inventory but it is not suitable when you are surrounded by enemies or when they are lurking nearby. However, there is an item “Backpack” that allows you to assign slots for specific items in order to prevent opening Inventory in critical situations. Enabling us to quick equip selected items/weapons and consumables is a game changer in that situation.
To use the Hotkeys or basically to use quick slots, Hold “I“. You will hold the Backpack in your right hand to access important items quickly. You can then hover the mouse and select whichever tool is necessary for the situation.
Tip: You can toggle the map by pressing “M” and further pressing the middle Mouse button will cycle the satellite view of your map which is very useful if you learn at the beginning.
To customize your backpack, you can add a backpack to your Inventory and remove the unwanted items that you do not need. Replace the items i.e. 2 weapon slots (left), 4 consumable item slots (front), 1 mega slot, and 2 slots on behind.
