Sons Of The Forest is live! It was one of the most anticipated and awaited games that has been released on 23rd Feb 2023 and it is still in early access. Gamers are simply diving deep into the classic horror survival game which allows building and crafting similar to as the previous game “The Forest“. There are new additional features and ways to get items as we can craft with the help of 3D Printer and Printer Resins. The Flask is also crafted via a 3D Printer unlike normally as we used to do in a prequel. So, let’s get into the depth.
How To Get And Use Flask At Sons Of The Forest
The streams of water or a pond are your only source of fresh drinking water. You can aim down and drink whenever you are near the source. However, you will require a Flask to store water and drink whenever you feel it is necessary. There is an important glowing location marked on your map near a cave where multiple streams of water form a lake in the South-East area. It is not far from the Baton location and it will be visible on your satellite map if you toggle it.
Once you enter the cave, the only area you can access at the beginning is the 3D Printer. Collect the Printer Resins in the vicinity that can be used to print, or if you have a friend then you can ask him to pour Printer Resin to craft a Flask for 100 Resins. There are other multiple items that are important as well, however, getting items super early in the game has so many advantages and makes your exploration easy. You can save and load the game to collect all the resources again as it spawns back.
Once you have created or printed a Flask, equip it and in a similar fashion press “E” to fill the flask with fresh water that can be used later when you are either inside a Cave or somewhere far away from the water source as you can’t drink ocean water.
