In Hogwarts Legacy, most of the Professors will give you some assignments to complete and once you are finished you will be able to learn new spells. These spells are required to complete some of the missions while other are quite useful in battle. Some professors will give you one assignment while others will give you two. Professor Garlic from the Herbology class will ask you to plant and harvest fluxweed as part of the 2nd assignment. Below you will find where to find the fluxweed seed and a large potting table to plant and harvest them.

The Fluxweed plant can only be planted in a large pot and so to complete the assignment you need to buy the fluxweed seed as well as a large pot. Fluxweed seed can be bought from the Magic Neep store in Hogsmeade. You need to have at least 350 gold to buy the seed and once it is bought, you can plant and harvest this plant anytime in the room of requirement.

Hogwarts Legacy Where To Buy Large Pot

To buy the large pot, you need to visit the Tomes and Scroll shop in Hogsmeade. There you need to find the scroll for “Potting Table With A Large Pot Spellcraft”. Once you have bought this you need to go back to your room of requirement.

There you need to use “Evanesco” on your previous small potting table and then use the Conjuring spell and select the Herbology. On the left side menu, you can find three different pot icons. Select the third menu with a large potting table and place the table in the Room of requirement.

After placing the large potting table, you need to plant the fluxweed plant and wait for 15 minutes to harvest complete the assignment and learn a new spell called “Flipendo” which can also be used on the cats or animals you meet in the game.
