Below you will find how many hours it will take and when you will get the flying broom and mount.

Hogwarts Legacy How To Unlock Flying Broom

You need to play around 7-8 hours of the game to be able to unlock the flying broom. Apart from that you need to have 600 gold to be able to buy one from the store. In Hogwarts, you won’t get it for free and you will be able to buy it after completing the quest called “Flying Class”.

Once you will start the quest, Madam Kogawa will give you basic training about flying in broom. The first lesson will be to fly through each ring in the courtyard. After completing the ring training, you need to follow a character, fly around Hogwarts to watch some views, and then land in the courtyard.

After the quest is completed you need to visit the Spintwitches in Hogsmeade and buy a broom for 600gold. It doesn’t matter whichever broom you choose as they are only for cosmetics.

To unlock the flying mount, you need to obtain a quest called The High Keep. It might take you around 10-15 minutes to complete this quest. You need to meet with Natsai and investigate Harlow. There you will find the flying mount Highwing chained up and you need to free them and fly back with them to complete the quest. Once the quest is completed you will unlock the flying mount.
