In Disney Dreamlight Valley, once you have unlocked Elsa and are on her quest i.e. “What Home Feels Like“, you will require to complete a set of requests in order to advance. One of the requests would be to catch the Glittering Herring at Glade of Trust when it is raining. How To Catch The Glittering Herring At Disney Dreamlight Valley
The process to catch the Glittering Herring is to fish at Glade of Trust when it is raining. It might seem simple but the chances of catching one are very low. We caught Glittering Herring in one of the Golden node fishing spots. However, it has also a very low chance of spawning at normal nodes too. Therefore it is recommended to fish all the spots in Glade Of Trust. Next, use the Glittering Herring, Dandelion Syrup, Wheat, and Butter to cook the Fish Pie.
There are some difficulties or it is a bug perhaps where if we have captured Glittering Herring before we have obtained the quest. You cannot use that Glittering Herring to cook Fish Pie in the quest. Even if we cook one, it is not accepted as a quest item. Next, to cook Adrendellan Pickled Herring, you can use normal Herring tho.
It might be a glitch where you can have only one Glittering Herring, so if you have it already in your Inventory then you can either use it to cook a meal for yourself and eat, gift, or sell. You can wait for a future update or patch to fix the bugs and carry on other quests.

I did add everything. Still not accepted as a quest item and there’s no new fish. This glitch made me hate this game cause I’m stuck now. Even after the so called “patch up”
I already catch to the of fish and I already have a made pie but can’t give to Elsa because I need to make another pie. I dont know what to do. FSN we catch this first 3x? Or can how to we make another syrup for the quest ? Very frustrating.
