In Disney Dreamlight Valley, by increasing your friendship with other Disney characters, you will obtain some quests from them. Completing these quests will upgrade your tools and help you explore various biomes easily. One such quest you will get from Maui after inviting him into the village and increasing the friendship level to 4 is “A Tale of Stone and Fire” which will upgrade your pickaxe. Below you will find how to complete this quest and cook a 5 Star meal for Maui.

Disney Dreamlight Valley A Tale of Stone and Fire

At beginning of the quest, you need to talk to Maui who will ask you to find some items in his basket. The basket will be present in the Moana realm, on the right side of the boat. You can visit the realm from the castle or directly teleport to the realm.

Once you reach the Moana realm, find the basket beside the boat and interact with it. You will find 5x Scraping stones in the basket that you need to bring back to Maui.

How To Cook A 5 Star Meal For Maui

After giving Maui the Scraping stones you need to cook 5 Star meal for Maui. The easiest 5 Star meal to cook will be Ranch salad or Bouillabaisse. To cook a Ranch salad the ingredients you will need are:

  • Lettuce – Can be found in the Goofy’s Cart in the Meadows.
  • Bell Pepper – Can be found in the Goofy’s Cart in Forest of Valor.
  • Corn – Can be found in the Goofy’s Cart in Dazzle Beach or clearing vines on Dazzle beach.
  • Tomato – Can be found in the Goofy’s Cart in Dazzle Beach.
  • Onion – Can be found in the Goofy’s Cart in Forest of Valor.
Craft Granite Fire Bowl & Place In Village

To craft the Granite Fire Bowl, you will need various different types of resources which are:

  • 20x Sand
  • 25x Stone
  • 10x Coal Ore
  • 3x Red Falling Penstemon

Sand can be found by digging the soil on Dazzle beach. To find stones, you need to break the rocks in the meadow and plaza. Coal ore can be found by breaking the rocks everywhere. Red Falling Penstemon can be found in the plaza, check out the image below to find exactly what it looks like.

Once you find all the resources you need to interact with the crafting station to craft the Granite Fire Bowl. After that open your furniture menu to place the Granite Fire Bowl in the village. Talk to Maui after placing the bowl in the village to complete the quest.
