Cauldron MU Find The Core Horizon Forbidden West Guide

Horizon Forbidden West is an action role-playing game developed by Guerrilla Games. Cauldrons are the old-world factories where the machines are made. There are a few Cauldrons available for you to conquer by overriding their network. By clearing the Cauldrons you will unlock a new overriding technique and will be able to override different types of machines.

Cauldron MU is the first cauldron you will encounter in this game, and if you are playing the second part for the first time, it can be a little confusing on how to clear it. You also cannot leave the cauldron without clearing it first. Below you will find out how to complete the Cauldron MU and which machines are unlocked for override by clearing this cauldron.

Cauldron MU Horizon Forbidden West

Once you enter the cauldron, you will find vents opening and closing on both the left and right sides. You need to climb one of these vents and follow the red wires. There you will find a ropeway cable that you need to ride and at the end of the cable, you will find some machine that you need to kill.

After that climb up and you will find a network uplink in red light that you can override using your spear which will create a bridge with cables. Keep going forward from the bridge and you will find a cauldron door that you can open.

Enter the door and use your pullcaster to go to the above platform and use the carrier machine to reach the other side where you need to kill some more machines. Destroy the machine and use the network uplink to open the door.

After that, you will find the core, but now you have to reach it. Reaching the core can be quite tricky as you need to use the rotating mechanical arm. To reach the core easily, you can use your focus and locate the pathway through the mechanical arms. Using focus by pressing R3 will show you the path to take in golden color.

Keep using the mechanical arms to reach the core where you need to override the network uplink which will spawn the Widemaw that you need to kill. There will be two Widemaw that you need to kill and override the core to complete the Cauldron MU.
