There will be a Pokemon Center and the house next to it will be where the Underground Man will be found. Talk to him and he will give you an Explorer Kit. After that, you can enter the Underground and dig your way into it. Though if you want to get back on the ground, Press “Y” and select “Go Up”. You will teleport back to the above surface on the ground.
Once you return to the surface, talk to the same guy who gave you an Explorer Kit. He will let you know that you can dig for treasures. In your map, yellow-colored markers are the location where you need to use Radar, press “R”. Dig and collect the treasure in order to report back to the Underground Man.
Next, talk to him where he will think about giving you a new assignment and since you are at this point then Digger Drill is already in your possession. Enter the underground and when you use Digger Drill on any part of the map, a secret base will be created. You can visit your secret base and store valuables, however, players tend to forget their secret base so either make them at a common spot or where it can be easily accessible.
