To tune your car first you need to visit your garage, you can do so by pressing the menu button and selecting the option to buy and sell used cars. There you will find the garage menu where you have to go into upgrade and tuning.

There select the option to custom upgrade your vehicle, you need to first select the conversion menu where you will get an option to swap the engine. You need to first change the engine and according to that swap other parts, because if you switch the engine later, the upgraded parts might change.

Once you select the best engine for your car, you need to check which type of car is tuning. The parts used in different types of cars will be different where some parts will be better for racing and offroad while others will be for drift.
