Life Is Strange True Colors is a graphic story-based adventure game developed by Deck Nine, Square Enix. Life Is Strange True Colors Take The Money For Ethan Or Turn Down The Offer
The first thing you need to do after getting out from the black lantern in chapter 2, visit the flower shop to find Mac. Before that, you got a message from Charlotte to go see her about something important. If you won’t visit the dispensary first before going to the flower shop, you won’t get this big choice.
Charlotte will tell you that the typhon is paying a huge amount of money to not press charges against them. This money can be used to help Ethan go to college. She needs the money for Ethan but she thinks if she will take up the offer it will be a betrayal to Gabe. You need to give her an answer to either take the money or turn down the offer.
If you choose to take the money, Alex will tell her you to have to put Ethan first, and if the money helps you should take it. Eventually, she won’t stop finding her brother’s killer. Charlotte will thank Alex for her opinion. Alex will think to himself “That affidavit feels scummy but…Ethan should come first”.
If you decide to turn down the offer, Alex will tell Charlotte that she shouldn’t sign it, she knows it’s hard but can’t let the typhon buy her off. Alex asks for some time to prove her brother’s killer. Charlotte will thank Alex for being honest. Alex will think to herself “If they’re willing to pay Charlotte to keep quiet, they’re definitely hiding something”.

Life Is Strange True Colors Tell Her About Gabe Or Spare Her The Pain
You need to complete a quest of helping Eleanor remember her memories. Once you have helped her remember the day, she will think about why Jed ordered Lillies. You need to make the tough choices to let her know or spare her the pain.
If you choose to spare her the pain, Alex will make excuses like You know Jed, probably he doesn’t know the difference between a lily and tulip. Eleanor will tell Alex that Gabe is more clever than he seems. She will be happy not knowing and Alex will think to himself that finally she became happy after remembering about the day and she didn’t want to ruin that.
If you choose to tell her about Gabe’s wake, she will suddenly remember it and starts crying because how could she forget it and starts blaming herself. She will run off to the back room crying and shut the door while telling sorry to Alex. Alex will think to himself Well that sucked but at least she told the truth.
Note: If you choose to spare her the pain, at the end of the chapter when all the people close to Gabe are gonna do one last send-off, while Alex talks about Gabe. Eleanor won’t be present there. If you choose to tell the truth she will be present there.
Life Is Strange True Colors Calm Mac Down Or Walk Away
Once you find Mac on the bridge, you need him to open up about what happened. Once you find a way for him to open up, he will be really frightened. You need to feel his emotion and confront him. After confronting him you will talk with him by selecting few choices. In the end, you will get the big choices when Mac opens up about everything panicking. Either you could calm his panicking down or walk away.
If you choose to calm Mac down, Alex will tell Mac to calm down and stop panicking. She knows how it feels to be doubted by everyone, to have everyone think worst of you, but the truth will come out. Typhon needs to fight with Alex with Mac to bury the truth. After that Mac will be calm and Alex asks her to not leave Haven and she will find the truth.
If you choose to walk away, Alex will tell, you deserve everything you are getting. Although he didn’t kill Gabe, he is also a part of it by not doing something about it. Mac could have spoken up something at the Gabe Wake or call the police. Mac tries to defend by saying he didn’t have a choice. Alex also gets furious and tells Mac to hope this feeling crushes him. And as Alex comes out from there she can see a person’s shadow on the wall hanging. Mac will leave the town if you choose to walk away.
Note: If you choose to walk away at the end of the chapter when all the people close to Gabe are gonna do one last send-off, while Alex talks about Gabe. Mac won’t be present there. If you choose to Calm Mac down, he will present for the last send-off.
