In Pathfinder Wrath Of The Righteous, the mission known as “The Outcast” requires you to find a specific person so-called cultist i.e. Kaylessa who is hiding in Kenabres. Kaylessa is a sworn enemy of an elf named Forn whom you met at Defender’s Heart. The story is not as simple as you might think because there is no reason to trust anyone even Forn, from Defender’s Heart. To find Kaylessa, enter the Market Square and explore the path below first where eventually you will be wandering close to the wall. Kaylessa will be lying down as she is injured where the conversation will start. There are many such options where you both can converse but the main objective is to find and kill her as per the demand of Forn. However, you can spare her as you learn about her true identity if the Perception Check succeeds i.e. she is not a Deskari cultist.
Once you reach Act 3 and defeat Drezen, the Forn Autumn Haze would meet you on your path where he would be wounded and injured. However, it is a trap that you will find if there was a success during Perception, Lore, and Nature checks. Help Kaylessa in the process of defeating Forn and learn why she was hunted.
However, if the perception check fails then the truth will be buried and you might go with a flow and as per the option or the quest demands her death, you will fulfill the quest’s requirement and then meet Forn. After killing her, you will receive Kaylessa’s message in a form of a note. Receive a reward from Forn i.e. “Scroll Of Death Ward” after completing the Outcast quest.
